RE: APPROVE WORK ORDER CONTRACT FOR WELD COUNTY FAIR SECURITY AND
CONTROL SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - OROZCO SECURITY
AGENCY, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Work Order Contract for Weld County
Fair Security and Control Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the CSU Extension Service of
Weld County, and Orozco Security Agency, Inc., commencing upon full execution of signatures,
with further terms and conditions being as stated in said work order contract, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said work order
contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Work Order Contract for Weld County Fair Security and Control
Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the CSU Extension Service of Weld County, and
Orozco Security Agency, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said work order contract.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of July, A.D., 2020.

Brief description of the problemlissue:
Orozco Security services have been used at Weld County Fair for many years. They assist with
various tasks during Fair, primarily with traffic control and flow and camper arrivals & placement.
They also help with security at each of the four buildings used at IGP during Fair.
What options exist for the Board? (include consequences, impacts, costs, etc. of options):
There are no new costs to Weld County; the funds used to pay Orozco are included in the Fair's 2020
budget.

You have recently requested a price information from our company here is our quote for "Weld County Fair" July
29,2020 through August 03,2020. Orozco Security Agency will provide this service at $18.75 per hour at Island
Grove.
For specific purposes of provide general security services and control services determiner criminal activity's quail
disorderly conduct, in force all rules and regulations of the property manager and/or owner. Personnel remain on
duty in designated areas at all time and must be in uniform.
Responsibilities include:
• Check in west parking lot on the open goats and lock buildings
• Check in campers and escorting to their place
• Lock and unlock buildings
• Traffic control in designated areas
Orozco Security Agency will provide this service based on the schedule total hours 267 hours at $18.75 = $5006.25

per hour at Island Grove.
For specific purposes of provide general security services and control services determiner criminal activity's quail
disorderly conduct, in force all rules and regulations of the property manager and/or owner. Personnel remain on
duty in designated areas at all time and must be in uniform.
Orozco Security Agency will provide this service based on the schedule total hours 128 hours at $18.75 = $2,400.00
Hours for overnights: 22:00pm-6:00am @2 guards per night.
