JAMES MILLER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 1st day of April, 2020, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of James and Bettie Miller, 39820 CR 19, Ft. Collins, Colorado 80524, c/o H. James Miller, 309 S. Link Ln., Ft. Collins, Colorado 80524, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR19-0072, for a Campground (to accommodate up to 80 RVs) for a period of six (6) months or less per calendar year in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to-wit: Lot B of Recorded Exemption, RE-2549; being part of the W1/2 NE1/4 of Section 16, Township 7 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, at said hearing, because of the COVID-19 event and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the general public, the Board, deemed it advisable to continue the matter to May 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., and WHEREAS, on May 13, 2020, the Board, deemed it advisable to continue the matter to May 27, 2020, to allow it to be heard by the Planning Commission on May 19, 2020, and WHEREAS, on May 27, 2020, the Board was presented with the recommendation of the Planning Commission to refer the matter back to the Department of Planning Services to allow the applicant additional time to review the application, address issues in conflict, and determine whether to keep the campground private or public.
