NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, that certain existing Chapters of the Weld County Code be, and hereby are, repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and the various Chapters are revised to read as follows. CHAPTER 9 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Amend ARTICLE I - Weld County Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy Amend Sec. 9-1-10. General provisions. A. and B. — No change. C. This policy does not apply to any County -owned computing device or personally owned computing device that is connected to, or has access to, the County computing network and used by Weld County Criminal Justice Agency personnel in the scope and course of their work for a Weld County Criminal Justice Agency. ORDINANCE NO, 2020-01 ORDINANCE TITLE: IN THE MATTER OF REPEALING AND: REENACTING, WITH AMEND- MENTS, CHAPTER 9 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE DATE OF NEXT READING: "February 10, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WELD COUNTY, COLORADO DATED: January 24, 2020 PUBLISHED: January 29, 2020, in the Greeley Tribune WELD COUNTY CODE ORDINANCE 2020-01 IN THE MATTER OF REPEALING AND REENACTING, WITH AMENDMENTS, CHAPTER 9 IN- FORMATION TECHNOLOGY, OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF WELD, STATE OF COLORADO: WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, pur- suant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority o' administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, on December 28, 2000, adopted Weld County Code Ordinance 2000 1, enacting a comprehensive Code for the County of Weld, including the co- dification of all previously adopted ordinances of a general anti permanent nature enacted on or before said date of adoption, and WHEREAS ;the Weld County Code is in need Of revision and clarification with regard to proce- dures, terms, and requirements therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT'ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, that certain existing Chapters of the Weld County Code be, and hereby are, repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and the various Chapters are revised to read as follows, ' CHAPTER 9 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Amend ARTICLE I - Weld County Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy Amend Sec. 9-1-10. General provisions. A. and B. — No change. C. This policy does not apply to any County -owned computing device, or personally owned comput- ing device that is connected to, or has access to, the County computing network and used' by Weld County Criminal Justice Agency personnel' in the scope and course of their work fora••Weld County CriminabJustice Agency. The term "Criminal Justice Agency" isdefined in Section 24-72-302(3), C.R.S. Responding to security incidents, All security incidents' shall be reported to the Information Technol- ogy Technical Support Center for immediate review and response. Information Technology employ- ees wit follow the Computer incident Response Plan to address any IT security related events. ANY USER FOUND VIOLATING THIS POLICY MAY FACE SANCTIONS WHICH SHALL IN- CLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, DISCIPLINARY ACTION BASED ON PROVISIONS OF HUMAN RESOURCE RULES, DEVICE REVOCATION OR SERVICE ACCESS TERMINATION, AND/OR LEGAL ACTION.
