RE: EIAF 9307 - Weld County Roads 74 Et 31 Intersection Roundabout Design
Dear Commissioner Freeman:
The Department of Local Affairs is in receipt of your application for state Energy and Mineral Impact
Assistance funds. These revenues are derived from oil, gas, carbon dioxide, coal, and metals extracted
in Colorado.
Your project was reviewed based on a variety of factors such as its connection to energy impact,
degree of need, measurable outcomes, amount of request, relationship to community goals, level of
local match and community support, management capacity, resiliency and readiness to go.
We appreciate your application, but I am sorry that we cannot offer any funding for your project at this
time. Competition for these limited funds was intense and we had many more requests than we had
funds available. All no -funding decisions are difficult to make and this project is certainly eligible to
return in a future round. If you have any questions regarding this decision, feel free to contact Chantal
Unfug at (303) 864-7721.
Sincerely,
4,t)14.
