The Weld County Sheriff's Office recently requested proposals for a Body Scanner that will be
implimented at the North Jail Complex located at 2110 O Street, Greeley CO 80631.
A comprehensive review was completed of two potential solutions that submitted proposals to the RFP.
Adani Systems Inc and Tek 84 Inc were the two responding companies. The review committee consisted
of five members who graded the proposals based on the requirements listed in the RFP Vendor
Response Sheet. Scores from each member were added together within their respective categories,
producing a final score for each vendor.
Based on the comprehensive review, the Sheriff's Office is recommending the Body Scanner bid be
awarded to the low bid meeting specifications from Adani Systems Inc for the total of $134,950.00.
Adani Systems Inc was the lowest bidder and their proposed solution exceeded many of the
requirements of the RFP. A conversation with a representative of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office
also produced a positive recommendation for the company. Douglas County has been utilizing a Body
Scanner from Adani Systems Inc since 2015 and is very happy with their product. The Sheriffs Office will
be upgrading to a new maching next month from the same company which further shows their support
for this company.
