RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF MARK LAWLEY AS DIRECTOR OF THE WELD
COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment provides
public health services to the citizens of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint Mark
Lawley, as Director of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment, effective
December 2, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Mark Lawley be, and hereby is, appointed as the Director of the Weld
County Department of Public Health and Environment, effective December 2, 2020.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of December, A.D., 2020.
