RE: Enterprise Zone Contribution Project
Dear Cathy,
The Weld County Board of Commissioners is proud to offer this letter of support to the Greeley Stampede,
Colorado's premier summer western celebration. With more than 225,000 guests from all over the world
attending the Top -25 PRCA Rodeos and music concerts, Weld County families enjoy these events along with
festive food, carnival, parade and family fun.
Accordingly, we are in full support of the Stampede Committee's application for the Enterprise Zone
Contribution Project which would assist in the construction of a permanent stage on the east end of the Island
Grove Arena. Their goal is to have this completed in time for 100'h Greeley Stampede celebration in 2021.
The Greeley Stampede is the largest and longest running community event in Northern Colorado and the
permanent stage may lead to more musical events in the arena throughout the year, allowing for more events
for Weld County residents to enjoy.
Again, we are in full support of this application for the Enterprise Zone Contributions Project.
