RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR20-0024, FOR AN OIL AND GAS SUPPORT AND SERVICE FACILITY
(OUTSIDE STORAGE OF OIL AND GAS VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT) IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - ENSIGN UNITED STATES DRILLING, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 30th day of
December, 2020, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of
hearing the application of Ensign United States Drilling, Inc., 24020 County Road 46, LaSalle,
Colorado 80545, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit,
USR20-0024, for an Oil and Gas Support and Service Facility (outside storage of oil and gas
vehicles and equipment) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate,
to-wit:
Lot A of Recorded Exemption, RECX12-0042; being
part of the NW1/4 of Section 18, Township 4 North,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to February 3, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., to allow Ensign
United States Drilling, Inc., adequate time to research screening options.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to February 3,
2021, at 10:00 a.m.
