RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND AT WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR RECORDS
UNIT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request that a Change Fund, in the amount of
$125.00 for the Records Unit, be established for the Weld County Sheriff's Office, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Controller, be, and hereby is, authorized to establish a Change Fund
for the Weld County Sheriff's Office, in the amount of $125.00 for the Records Unit.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of November, A.D., 2020.

Subject: Cash/Change Box for WCSO Records
Barb,
The new Weld County Sheriff's Office Records Units will regularly take payments
for Records Request. To facilitate this, a cash/change box will be necessary to
service customers with cash payments. The Records Unit is requesting $125.00 in
petty cash for this purpose, to be in place by December 28th, 2020.
