Dear Mr. Anderson:
On March 19, 1971 , accompanied by Mr. Charles Clementz, I made an inspection
of the cracking occurring in the walls of the 4-H Building at Island Grove
Park.
Inspection of the north and south walls show possible enlargement of some
old cracks and some new cracking. As of this date, we are of the opinion
that the walls of this building are structurally adequate.
In discussing this matter with Mr. John Haley, it was concluded that a pro-
cedure should be established whereby periodic measurements and inspections
can be made to determine any further cracking of the building walls in the
future. We are taking immediate steps to establish this procedure of in-
spection and will keep your office informed by a periodic report. During
the interim of these reports , we would appreciate information regarding the
development of any unusual conditions .
