HomeMy WebLinkAbout20203171.tiffWELD COUNTY FEDERAL MINERAL LEASE DISTRICT July 6, 2020 Members present: Mike Freeman, President Travis DePorter (Phone) Others Present: Barb Connolly, Weld County Controller Curtis Hall, Public Works Donald Warden, Weld County Finance Director Jennifer Oftelie, Budget Manager Absent: Bruce White CALL TO ORDER: Mike Freeman, President, called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. APPROVE MINUTES OF JANUARY 6, 2020: By motion duly made and seconded, the minutes of January 6, 2019, were approved unanimously. There was not an April 6, 2020 meeting due to the COVID closures. REVIEW STATUS OF WELD COUNTY FOR ROAD PROJECTS: Curtis Hall from Pubic Works provided an update detailing the status of the HARP road projects. Public Works is on schedule and staff believes that they will complete all the projects on the 2020 HARP list in the IGA by year end. OTHER BUSINESS: Donald Warden, Weld County Director of Finance and Administration, presented a bill from Weld County for $600 for administrative services per the IGA with Weld County. By motion duly made and seconded, the payment was approved. Mr. Warden presented the payment of $50,000 to the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment, for approval. He stated this is the sixth year of the project for the water testing equipment. By motion duly made and seconded, the payment of $50,000 to the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment was approved. REVIEW 2019 AUDIT: Barb Connolly stated Anderson and Whitney, Certified Public Accountants, conducted the audit as of December 31, 2019, and no exceptions were found. However, they have not provided a final copy yet. As a result, she recommended the Board continued the matter to the meeting on October 20, 2020. By motion duly made and seconded, the audit was continued until October 20, 2020. There was no other business to come before the Board.
