JAMES MILLER A public hearing was conducted on May 27, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present: Commissioner Mike Freeman, Chair Commissioner Steve Moreno, Chair Pro -Tern Commissioner Scott K. James Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer Commissioner Kevin D. Ross Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Jan Warwick Assistant County Attorney, Bob Choate Planning Services Department representative, Diana Aungst Public Works Department representative, Mike McRoberts Health Department representative, Lauren Light The following business was transacted: • I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 24, 2020, and duly published February 28, 2020, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted on April 1, 2020, to consider the request of James and Bettie Miller, c/o H. James Miller, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR19-0072, for a Campground (to accommodate up to 80 RVs) for a period of six (6) months or less per calendar year in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. On April 1, 2020, the matter was continued to May 13, 2020, due to the COVID-19 event and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the general public. On May 13, 2020, the matter was continued to May 27, 2020, to allow the matter to be heard by the Planning Commission on May 19, 2020. Bob Choate, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. • Diana Aungst, Department of Planning Services, reviewed the request of the applicant, explained the Planning Commission heard the matter on May 19, 2020, voting to refer the matter back to staff as the applicant is not ready to move forward. She stated The Department of Planning Services would like to give them the opportunity to review the application and address some of the issues in conflict and determine whether to keep the campground private or public. She reiterated the Department of Planning Services recommended referring the application back to staff. ▪ Based on the recommendation from The Department of Planning Services, Commissioner Moreno moved to refer the matter back to staff. The motion was seconded by Commissioner PL-(bP-1TV" (U , pw(Vt'W 1) ,III2Oz, 2020-1515 PL2740 HEARING CERTIFICATION - JAMES AND BETTIE MILLER, C/O H. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:20 a.m. This Certification was approved on the 1st day of June, 2020.
