RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Erin Mathews to the Energy Position of said board, with a term to expire February 1, 2021, and
Olga Gonzalez to the Family Consumer Science Position of said board, with a term to expire
February 1, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Erin Mathews and Olga Gonzalez, be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Extension Advisory Council, with terms to expire February 1, 2021, and February 1, 2022,
respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of January, A.D., 2020.
