RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER
SEAN P. CONWAY TO A CERTAIN ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on January 6, 2020, it was recommended that Commissioner Conway be
appointed to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following board, at which time
the Board of County Commissioners deemed it advisable to continue said matter to January 13,
2020, to allow time for further consideration:
• E-470 Public Highway Authority (Regular member)
WHEREAS, after further consideration, the Board deems it advisable to dismiss the
appointment of Commissioner Conway to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the appointment of Commissioner Sean P. Conway to the above listed
board, be, and hereby is, dismissed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of January, A.D., 2020.
