RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO NORTH FRONT RANGE METROPOLITAN PLANNING
ORGANIZATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Kevin D. Ross be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning
Organization as a Regular Member, replacing Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, and that
Commissioner Steve Moreno continue to represent the Board as an Alternate Member, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Ross to said Board
as a Regular Member, and maintain Commissioner Moreno as an Alternate Member, both with
terms to expire December 31, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner Ross, be, and hereby is, appointed to the North Front
Range Metropolitan Planning Organization as a Regular Member, replacing Commissioner
Kirkmeyer, and that Commissioner Moreno continue to represent the Board as an Alternate
Member, both with terms to expire December 31, 2020.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of April, A.D., 2020.
