RE: APPROVE CUSTOMER PURCHASE ORDER FOR FIVE (5) USED MOTOR GRADERS
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR AND CONTROLLER TO SIGN ANY NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS - 4 RIVERS EQUIPMENT, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Customer Purchase Order for Five (5)
Used Motor Graders between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Fleet Services, and
4Rivers Equipment, LLC, to purchase the following used motor graders:

WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Fleet Services inspected the motor graders
and found them to be in good condition, and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works concurs the motor graders
will meet the needs of the department without purchasing brand new motor graders, and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Finance and Administration has advised
the Board there are funds in the 2020 budget to purchase the motor graders, and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the used motor graders is consistent with the transition plan
from leased graders to purchased graders presented to the Board at a work session held on
September 8, 2020, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said purchase order, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for the purchase of the
five (5) used motor graders cited above at a total cost of $837,500.00 from 4Rivers Equipment,
LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, the Customer Purchase Order for Five (5) Used Motor Graders cited above,
for a total cost of $837,500.00, from 4Rivers Equipment, LLC, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign any necessary documents, and that the authority to sign any necessary transfer
documents, be, and hereby is, delegated to the Weld County Controller to sign as the agent for
the Weld County Board of Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Purchaser offers to sell, transfer, and convey the items(s) listed as "T ade In" to the Dealer at or
prior to the time of delivery of the above product(s), as a "trade-in" to be applied against the cash price. Purchaser
represents that each"trade-in" item shall be free and clear of all security interests, liens, and encumbrances at the time of
transfer to the Dealer except to the extent shown below. The price to be allowed for each "trade-in" item is listed o this
document. The Purchaser promises to pay the balance due (line 9) shown hereon in cash, or to execute a Time Sale
Agreement (Retail Installment Contract), or a Loan Agreement for the purchase price of the Product(s), plus additional
