doing business as The Circus
Gentlemen:
Since the filing of the application of my clients, David K.
Lofgren and Grant L. Phillips, doing business as The Circus,
the hearing on said application and the granting of said ap-
plication by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, it has come to the attention of my clients that the
proposed name of the business premises, , namely The Circus , is
in fact being used by another business in the Denver area . As
a consequence, my clients are desirous of changing the name of
their business to "Mother's" .
Therefore, pursuant to paragraph F of Regulation number 3 of
the Rules and Regulations for the Colorado 3.2 Beer Act, I am
herewith submitting a written notice to you as the local and
state licensing authorities. Pursuant to said Regulation, the
licensees shall not change the name or tradename until giving
this written notice at least ten days prior to the change of
name.

Since the state license has not yet issued and the parties do
not contemplate opening business for at least ten days, I would
like to request that you confirm with me that the name change is
acceptable to each of you. Should you have any objections or
further procedures to be followed, please advise me so that I
might see that they are accomplished.
After at least ten days have passed following your receipt of
this letter, I will prepare an Amendment to their Articles of
Partnership changing the name of the partnership and tradename.
I will then file of record here in Weld County notice of this
• change and a new Tradename Affidavit.
