RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER STEVE MORENO TO E-470 PUBLIC
HIGHWAY AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Steve Moreno be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following board:
• E-470 Public Highway Authority (Regular member)
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Moreno to said board,
with his term to expire December 31, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Steve Moreno, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed board, with his term to expire December 31, 2020.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of January, A.D., 2020, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2020.
