RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF RYAN ROSE AS CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER /
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County have approved a
three-year transition plan for the Weld County Finance and Administration organization to
accommodate the retirement of the current Director of Finance and Administration at the end of
2022, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County have approved the
three-year transition plan to begin transitioning Ryan Rose, Weld County's Chief Information
Officer (CIO), to ultimately become the Director of Finance and Administration between now and
the end of 2022, and
WHEREAS, to implement the transition plan, the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County wishes to appoint Ryan Rose to the position of Chief Information Officer/Director of
Administrative Services, effective immediately.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Ryan Rose be, and hereby is, appointed Chief Information Officer /
Director of Administrative Services, effective immediately.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 19th day of February, A.D., 2020.
