APPRENTICESHIP WEEK
NOVEMBER 8 -14, 2020
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners wish to recognize
businesses and educators committed to the development and execution of
registered apprenticeship programs; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Workforce Development Board and Employment
Services of Weld County are committed to supporting local workforce needs
while increasing the future talent pipeline; and
WHEREAS, apprenticeships are industry -driven pathways providing workers the
opportunity to earn a living wage while attaining the in -demand skills necessary
to succeed in high demand careers; and
WHEREAS, the nation will celebrate National Apprenticeship Week in November
2020 to recognize a proven model that has been validated by the U.S.
Department of Labor, apprenticeship benefits and value to the economy.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado do hereby proclaim November 8 — 14, 2020, as Apprenticeship Week in
Weld County.
