RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF AMBER PEPLINSKI AS ASSISTANT VETERANS
SERVICES OFFICER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. §28-5-801 through 805, the obligations, two-year terms,
and qualifications of County Veterans Service Officers are enumerated, and
WHEREAS, the term for Amber Peplinski as an Assistant Veterans Services Officer will
soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Amber Peplinkski to said position,
with a term to begin February 21, 2020, and end February 20, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Amber Peplinski be, and hereby is, reappointed as an Assistant
Veterans Services Officer, with a term to expire February 20, 2022.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of February, A.D., 2020.
