We explained his options and he has chosen, at this time, to go the modified amendment path and move the access location and easement by updating the plat through the planning process. We will not need to move forward with a hearing date at this time. Please let me know if you have questions or if you need anything else from me. Thank you, Dawn R. Shared Access Relocation Variance Request - Lot B, Recorded Exemption No. 0301- 22-03 RECX19-0095 We are requesting an access variance to relocate the "proposed access for Lot A, lot B, and Lot C" from the southwestern corner of Lot A to the southeast corner of Lot B, which is shown on the attached Recorded Exemption. We would like to relocate the shared access point to the southeastern corner of Lot B. Currently, we are the only owners of the three parcels/Lots. Relocating the shared access will allow direct access onto our property (Lot B), which will also help preserve the natural grasslands of the Paw- nee National Grassland by alleviating back and forth traffic along the unimproved southern portion of Lot A (as proposed with the current shared access). Since Lots A and C have not been sold, having to bear the costs of access improvements along the south side of Lot A (to minimize environmental impacts of driving across the grasslands in wet weather), are beyond our budget, especially since there are no adjoining land owners to help offset these costs. Relocating the shared access from Lot A to Lot B will maintain Weld County's goal of "no net increase in access points off of a county maintained right away." We therefore kindly request that you approve relocating the shared access from Lot A to Lot B from CR 114 via a 40 -foot wide access that will be improved with a 15 -inch diameter culvert. The existing 30' access and utility easement will remain.
