HomeMy WebLinkAbout700436.tiff RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado, heretofore and on May 20, 1970, did enter into an agreement with the Greeley National Bank for the performance of services relative to data processing in connection with the road and bridge accounting system of Weld County, and WHEREAS, it is now the desire of Weld County and the Greeley National Bank to expand, modify and increase the duties to be performed by the Greeley National Bank for Weld County, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, believes it to be in the best interests of the County to enter into such additional agreement on the basis recited therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the addendum to the afore- mentioned agreement of May 20, 1970, as submitted by the Greeley National Bank, to expand, modify and increase the duties to be performed by the Greeley National Bank for Weld County in connection with the road and bridge accounting system of Weld County, copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby is approved. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of December, 1 9 70. AYES: „i/7-,-/ fir t ' `` i ,3 A D OF COU Y COMMISSIONS RS WELD COUNTY, COLORADO ATTEST: Clerk the Board .. ,;, = . 1.,__,, _,+',' / ,'- (,I i''e%P y APPROVED AS TO FORM: p c _ --inf/a Vt.,-1-3,--- County Attorney t `, /-- / ,D P��t9�7 V 700436 ADDENDUM THIS ADDENDUM is made and entered into this 2nd day of December , 1970 by and between THE GREELEY NATIONAL BANK OF GREELEY, COLORADO, a National Banking Association (Data Processing Center Division) hereinafter referred to as GNB, and THE COUNTY OF WELD, OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, a Political Subdivision, hereinafter referred to as Weld, WITNESSETH , THAT : WH ERE AS , heretofore and on the 20th day of May, 1970 the parties entered into an Agreement with each other whereby Weld employed the services of GNB to perform services in the form of data processing in connection with the road and bridge accounting system of Weld, and, WH ERE AS , the parties hereto desire to expand, modify and increase the duties to be performed by GNB for Weld, and the parties have agreed as to the nature of such expanded duties and services and the cost thereof. NOW , THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual prom- ises and covenants of the parties as are hereinafter contained and the consid- erations hereinafter recited, it is mutually understood and agreed as follows: 1. In addition to continuing the performance of all duties and obligations as set forth in said Agreement of May 20, 1970 between the parties hereto, GNB agrees to perform the following services in behalf of Weld: A. Print a monthly transaction list for Material, Employee Time and Equipment. B. Show totals by account number within each of the three groups. C. Show totals for each of the three groups. D. Show Final total for each of the three groups, Material, Employee Time and Equipment. E. In addition, for each transaction the appropriate number, description, transaction date, batch number, quantity, unit code, rate and an extension will be shown. 2. The parties hereto acknowledge and GNB agrees that in order to accomplish the above and foregoing results it will be necessary to modify the existing programs now performed by GNB in behalf of Weld and to develop new programs as follows: A. The transaction edit program must be changed to supply the description, the batch number and the date with the transaction past to the Division Expenditure Analysis Program. B. A sort program to sequence the transactions in account number order within material number, employee number and equipment number. C. A new program to list the transactions in number sequence with each transaction in sequence by account number; also giv- ing account and the three levels of totals for the current month. 3. It is further mutually acknowledged, understood and agreed by and between the parties hereto that the initial, one-time, conversion and programming cost to be paid by Weld to GNB upon accomplishment of the above described changes will be One Thousand One Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($1,115. 00). 4. The present monthly charge imposed by GNB for services performed in behalf of Weld, as is set forth in Paragraph 5 of said Agree- ment dated May 20, 1970, is the sum of Three Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($315. 00). By virtue of this Addendum, it is mutually understood and agreed that the monthly processing charge for the services performed under the terms of the Agreement dated May 20, 1970 and under the terms of this Addendum shall be a total of Three Hundred and Forty Dollars ($340. 00), exclusive of key-punching. 5. In all other respects, terms and conditions, the Agreement between the parties dated May 20, 1970 is hereby ratified and confirmed. The set-up and maintenance charges will remain as stated in the contract. There will be a charge of $150. 00 January 1, 1971, to cover programming costs to print year-to-date information for retire- , ment and to enable the system to process the Welfare Department.
