TO SIGN LEASE WITH UNION
PACIFIC RAILROAD FOR DISTRICT
NUMBER ONE - L.D. 57409:
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has tendered to Weld
County, Colorado, a lease extending to and including June 30, 1975, the
terms of said lease supersede that of a certain lease dated October 24, 1927,
wherein the Union Pacific Railroad Company leased to Weld County, Colorado,
a site for the Ault Shop at Ault, Colorado, said lease being described more
particularly as follows to-wit:
Original Lease: October 24, 1927
Superseded by L. D. M 20433
Audit No. 34428 dated May 12, 1965
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
has considered carefully said agreement, and believes it to be in the best
interests of the County to accept said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the terms of the agreement submitted by the
Union Pacific Railroad Company be and the same is hereby accepted.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED by and between the present parties to the above,■ named agreement that the term thereof
shall be and hereby is extended to and including June _____- I9_id_, and that all the terms and conditions
thereof, as heretofore (if supplements to the original agreement are indicated above) or herein (if any special provisions are written
below) amended, shall remain in full force and effect during the extended term, said agreement with the amendments and supplements
(if any) to be subject to termination prior to the expiration of the extended term in the same manner as is provided therein for termi-
nation prior to the expiration of the term hereby extended.
Special Provisions: Effective July 1, 1970, the Lessee shall pay to the Lessor
rental at the rats of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per annm, payable annually in advance,
in lieu of the rental of Treaty-Five Dollars (923.00) per annum heretofore stipulated.
