SUBJECT: Frank's Ride for Children, fbo Make -A -Wish Foundation of
Colorado, Inc.
Greg Risedorf, Event Manager, Frank's Ride for Children, fbo Make -A -Wish Foundation of
Colorado, Inc., has informed the Clerk to the Board's Office that in light of COVID-19 restrictions
he will not be applying for a Special Events Permit this year and has cancelled what would have
been the 34th annual event. While disappointed, many of the children this event benefits are
immune compromised, and their safety comes first. Mr. Risedorf, the Frank's Ride for Children
volunteers, and the Make -A -Wish Foundation of Colorado are all looking forward to next year's
event.

Good afternoon,
I just got off the phone with Greg Risedorf, who puts on Frank's Ride for Children to benefit
the Make -A -Wish Foundation of Colorado, and they have cancelled this year's event. This
year would have been their 34th annual event. While disappointed, many of the children
that benefit and attend are immune compromised, and their safety comes first. Greg is
looking forward to next year.

As we discussed the fire district has no objection to the event.
As the amount of people to be estimated at 1500 the event is mainly outside.
The event people need to know that the county requirements for large number of people require medical personnel to
standby and Greg has addressed this with the standby of Longmont Emergency Units (LEU).
The requirement of al emergencies to be handled by "911" MVFPD.
