RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together with
the Chief Judge of the 19th Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services Planning
Committee, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to recommend
to the Chief Judge of the 19th Judicial District that the following be appointed to said Board:
• Becky Wyperd — North Range Behavioral Health
• Scott James — Weld County Commissioner
• Brecken Arnold — City of Greeley
• Dr. Sarah Wooten, D.V.M. — Citizen Member
• Dr. Francie Murry — University of Northern Colorado
Citizen Member
• Kimberly McDonald (or designee from the Office of the
Public Defender)
• Erin Rossiter (or designee from the Office of Child's
Representative)
• Brandy Layman (or designee from the 19th Judicial District
Probation Office)
• John Gates — Weld County School District 6 (Greeley)
• Karina Amaya — Weld County Department of Human
Services, Division of Employment Services
• Robin Overmyer — Weld County Department of Human
Services
• Kyle Ragland or John Wittwer — Weld County Department
of Human Services
• Ivan Diaz — Youth and Family Connections
• Kirsta Britton — Weld County District Attorney's Office,
Juvenile Diversion
• Steven Wrenn — Weld County District Attorney's Office
• Mark Gonzales — City of Greeley Municipal Judge
• Audrey Galloway or Randall Lococo — 19th Judicial District
Magistrate
• Richard Wayman (or designee from Weld County Sheriff's
Office)
• Maria Campos or Tyler Fittz — Colorado Department of

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the above listed appointees, be, and hereby are, recommended for
appointment to the Juvenile Services Planning Committee.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 11th day of March, A.D., 2020.
