RESOLUTION
RE: AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND THE GREELEY
NATIONAL BANK.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the present system of
printing of the welfare recipient payroll checks and reports is in need of
revision and change, and
WHEREAS, The Greeley National Bank of Greeley, Colorado, is
engaged in the commercial activity of computer data processing, and
WHEREAS, The Greeley National Bank has submitted an agree-
ment to perform services for the Weld County Department of Public
Welfare in the form of calculation and printing of the Welfare recipient
payroll checks and reports, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County,
Colorado, believes it to be in the best interest of the County to enter into
such an agreement on the basis recited therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement submitted
by the Greeley National Bank providing for the calculation and printing of
the welfare recipient payroll checks and reports, copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby
is authorized, to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same
effective forthwith.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22w day of September,
1971.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this 22 —
day of SepfcyfAcr , 1971 by and between THE GREELEY NATIONAL
BANK OF GREELEY, COLORADO (DATA PROCESSING CENTER DIVISION)
hereinafter referred to as GNB, and WELD COUNTY, COLORADO,
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE, hereinafter referred to as County,
WITNESSETH, THAT:
WHEREAS, GNB is engaged in the commercial activity of
computer data processing and proposes to perform services for the County
in the form of calculation and printing of the Welfare Recipient Payroll
Checks and Reports, all as is more specifically set forth in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof, and,
WHEREAS, The County desires to employ the services of GNB
for such purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, In consideration of the mutual promises
and covenants of the parties as are hereinafter contained and for the fur-
ther considerations hereinafter stated, it is understood and agreed as follows:
1. GNB hereby agrees to perform the services as are set
forth in detail in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by reference made a part
hereof, and for the costs therein specified, for a period of one year,
commencing October 1, 1971.
2. The County employs GNB for the services to be performed
as set forth in Exhibit A and County agrees to pay GNB the costs as are
therein specified.
3. It is mutually understood and agreed that this agreement
shall automatically renew itself from year to year, subject to the condition
that such automatic renewal shall be rendered void by either party giving
written/notice of its intention not to renew the agreement for an additional

year, no later than the 1st day of each month of July hereafter. In the event
GNB should determine that any renewal of this agreement shall be subject
to modification in costs charged by GNB for services rendered, it shall be
obliged to furnish such notice in writing on or before the 1st day of each
month of July hereafter, and if such charges are not acceptable to the County,
said County may advise GNB in writing of its intention not to renew this agree-
ment, even though such notice is received by GNB later than July 1st.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The parties hereto have hereunto
subscribed their hands on the day and year first above written.

EXHIBIT A
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
WELFARE RECIPIENT PAYROLL SYSTEM
THE GREELEY NATIONAL BANK OF GREELEY, COLORADO (DATA
PROCESSING CENTER DIVISION) AGREES TO MONTHLY PERFORM THE
FOLLOWING:
1. Keypunch and verify all input information.
2. Print a proof list of new and deleted Welfare recipients.
3. Balance all Welfare recipient payrolls to the totals supplied
by the Welfare Department and print transmittals for any
payrolls not in balance.
4. Print input transmittals for each individual payroll.
5. Print Check registers for each of the recipient payrolls.
6. Print the recipient checks for each of the payrolls.
THE WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE
AGREES TO:
1. Provide the Data Processing Center with completed input
transmittals containing any new, changed or deleted recipients
on each of the payrolls.
2. Provide the Computer Center with corrected transmittals on out
of balance payrolls the day following their receipt.
SCHEDULES AS PROVIDED BY GREELEY NATIONAL BANK DATA PROCESSING
CENTER DIVISION:
1. If the Data Processing Center keypunches and verifies the
recipient payroll input data:
A. All input data including the input transmittals, payroll
totals, the payroll check date and starting check numbers
must arrive at the center eleven (11) working days prior
to the twentieth of each month.
B. Any out of balance transmittals must be corrected and
re-submitted within 24 hours after they are recieved by
the Welfare Department.
C. The printed Welfare checks will be sent to the Weld County
Commissioners Officer for signing three (3) working days
prior to the twentieth of each month.
2. If Weld County keypunches and verifies the recipient payroll
input data:
A. All card input including input transmittals, payroll totals,
the payroll check date and starting check numbers must
arrive at the Data Processing Center nine (9) working days
prior to the twentieth of each month.
B. Any out of balance transmittals must be corrected and the
corrections (keypunched and verified) re-submitted within
24 hours after they are received by the Welfare Department.
C. The printed Welfare checks will be sent to the Weld County
Commissioners Office for signing three (3) working days
prior to the twentieth of each month.
COST OF SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED BY THE GREELEY NATIONAL
BANK DATA PROCESSING CENTER DIVISION:
The cost of the services to be performed as described herein , to be
effective October 1, 1971 and payable monthly by the Department of Public
Welfare, upon receipt of invoice from the Data Processing Center Division
will be as follows:
1. In the event Greeley National Bank Data Processing Center
Division provides keypunching and verifying, the charge will
be $. 10 per input card plus $. 085 per printed Welfare check.
2. In the event Weld County provides keypunching and verifying,
the charge will be $. 085 per printed Welfare check.
