This facility both develops an alternative fuel source and is a creative approach to bringing an alternative energy source to market through Xcel's Solar*Rewards Community program • 22-5-i 3$ encourages the development of alternative energy sources to counter energy market volatility. This project, as a distributed energy resource, will serve that aim. • 22-5-140.A.5 directs regulatory support toward small-scale solar energy. • 22-5-160.A.1 supports the development of power generation facilities which benefit County residents and deploy available resources in the County.
