Dear Assistance Recipient:
The Weld County Board of Public Welfare finds it necessary to notify
you that due to an insufficiency of appropriated county funds it will be
impossible to continue with certain of its welfare programs.
Weld County has asked the State Department of Social Services for
sufficient additional monies to enable these programs to continue out of
funds which the State has available.
The State Department of Social Services has refused to answer Weld
County' s request. Unless the State Department of Social Services approves
Weld County's request for additional funds, there will not be sufficient
monies available in the County Welfare Fund to make payments for assistance
in your category.
It is therefore necessary to notify you that August and subsequent
welfare payments will not be made.
If, however, the State Department of Social Services should see fit
to approve Weld County's request for additional funds, your program of
assistance will be continued as in the past or resumed as soon as such
funds are made available by the State.
