Subject: 1250 H-Street—Civil Design Task Order
Weld County awarded on-call design services to four different vendors. There is a need for design
services at the 1250 H Street building due to the discovery of unstable soils in the parking lot. This
design will facilitate necessary repairs. Robert Shreve Architect and Planners has used the labor rates
identified in their bid and quoted a lump sum of$18,480.00 for this design scope. Buildings&Grounds
is recommending approval.

Project Title: 1250 H Street-Design Services-Parking Lot Drainage

Design Compensation: $18,480.00
Note: Pursuant to the "Original Agreement", document No. 2019-2250 section 2.2-Additional
Task Order Work. In addition to that work described in section 2.1,the Parties may agree
to additional work to be provided by Contractor pursuant to an appropriately executed
Task Order, which shall be negotiated between the Parties on an as needed basis. Any
such Task Order shall be signed by the Weld County Director of Buildings and Grounds
before it shall be effective. In no event shall the total of all Task Orders exceed$25,000 in
any calendar year unless first approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Any
appropriately executed Task Order shall be automatically incorporated herein and
enforceable.
Scope of Task Order:
1. The project will involve providing civil engineering plans and construction documents to
correct parking lot drainage issues at 1250 H Street Complete services for the project as
described in the attached Exhibit-Task Order 2-2020.
Contractor agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached exhibit in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Original Agreement
between the parties.
