RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING RESCINDING RESOLUTION #2019-4345,
DATED OCTOBER 9, 2019, FOR A SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE
BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR19-0053, FOR MORE THAN THREE (3) SEMI-
TRAILERS USED AS PERSONAL STORAGE UNITS AND A USE PERMITTED AS A
USE BY RIGHT, ACCESSORY USE, OR USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW IN THE
COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL ZONE DISTRICTS (COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
PARKING), PROVIDED THAT THE PROPERTY IS NOT A LOT IN AN APPROVED OR
RECORDED SUBDIVISION PLAT OR PART OF A MAP OR PLAN FILED PRIOR TO
ADOPTION OF ANY REGULATIONS CONTROLLING SUBDIVISIONS IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - PATRICIA NASH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 8th day of
June, 2020, at the hour of 9:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of rescinding
Resolution #2019-4345, dated October 9, 2019, of Patricia Nash, 212 South McKinley Avenue,
Fort Lupton, Colorado 80621, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review
Permit, USR19-0053, for more than three (3) semi-trailers used as personal storage units and a
Use permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial
or Industrial Zone Districts (commercial vehicle parking), provided that the property is not a lot in
an approved or recorded subdivision plat or part of a map or plan filed prior to adoption of any
regulations controlling subdivisions in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the following described
real estate, to-wit, and:
W1/2 NW1/4 of Section 26, Township 2 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the
testimony and statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and all of the
exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable
to continue said matter to September 14, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., to allow Patricia Nash adequate time
to develop a screening plan and submit a road maintenance agreement to the Department of
Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter, be, and hereby is, continued to
September 14, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.
