Home My WebLink About20200015.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER STEVE MORENO TO CERTAIN ADVISORY BOARDS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Moreno be appointed to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards: • Bright Futures • CJAC Criminal Justice Advisory Committee — Regular Member • Greeley/Weld Airport Authority • Island Grove Park Advisory Board — Alternate Member • Pre -Trial Services Advisory Board • Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board — Regular Member WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Moreno to said boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2020. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner Steve Moreno, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above listed boards, with his term on each board to expire on December 31, 2020. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of January, A.D., 2020, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2020.
