I am pleased to inform you that Weld County Human Services has been awarded $1,200 in placement stabilization funds. These funds should be utilized to further your investment in the activities outlined in the application. I would like to remind you of the following deadlines associated with this funding: • Completion of effort/activity: June 30, 2020. • Expenditures entered into CFMS (counties only): July 6, 2020 • Submit invoice for expenditures to CDHS (CPAs and tribes only): July 6, 2020 • NOTE: Multiple invoices can be submitted throughout the duration of the funding period. Please allow 30 days to receive payment. I would also like to remind you of the following guidelines for Placement Stabilization Funds: • All placement stabilization funding must be spent by June 30, 2020. For CPAs and tribes, all invoices must be submitted to Adrienne Cooper, adrienne.cooper@state.co.us, by Monday, July 6, 2020. Counties, please enter expenses into CFMS using the code E468.9277 by Monday, July 6, 2020. • Placement stabilization funds may not be used to fund May Foster Care events or activities for traditional recruitment activities. • Counties, CPAs and tribes may include several different activities and efforts in their placement stabilization funding application. • Placement stabilization funding recipients are welcome to collaborate with other organizations and/or businesses. However, collaboration is encouraged but not required. • Funding may not be used for staff time. Placement stabilization funding recipients must first incur the costs associated with the funds. Counties can submit expenses for reimbursement using the County Financial Management System (CFMS). CPAs and tribes must submit an invoice to CDHS to be reimbursed.
