CONSULTANTS # 2021 CLUBHOUSE DRIVE GREELEY, COLORADO 80631 303: 356-4444 December 20, 1973 Mr. Logan Rappe Office of Emergency Preparedness Camp George Nest Golden, Colorado 80401 Dear Mr. Rappe: SUBJECT: HELD COUNTY FLOOD DAMAGE REPAIR This letter is written on behalf of the County to request reassessment by OEP on a number of flood damaged areas. The need for re-evaluation on these projects is due to increased construction costs and quantity over- runs on the various contracts, which is a result of and verified by the actual constructed facilities. The attached summary delineates the percentage overruns of the individual OEP items and totals on each of the construction contracts which includes all of these items. The County would also like to request at the time of the re-evaluation that final inspections be made,and that the County at this time be allowed all but 5 percent of the total dollar amount shown on the enclosed summary.
