RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF NICKIE PHILLIPS AS ASSISTANT VETERANS
SERVICES OFFICER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. §28-5-801 through 805, the obligations, two-year terms,
and qualifications of County Veterans Services Officers are enumerated, and
WHEREAS, the term for Nickie Phillips as Assistant Veterans Services Officer will soon
expire, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Nickie Phillips to said position, with
a term to begin April 23, 2020, and end April 22, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Nickie Phillips, be, and hereby is, reappointed as an Assistant
Veterans Services Officer, with a term to expire April 22, 2022.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of April, A.D., 2020.
