The Weld County Board of Health met on October 27, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. in the second -floor hearing
room of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment and by via skype.
Those present included:
Board Members: Nicholas Berryman, Bree Lukens, Tim Annable, James Kuemmerle, and Jeff Reck
Others: Katie Sall & Lauren Light and Dan Joseph Environmental Health Services
Presenter Mike Schwan — Registered Dietitian Nutritionist- Early Childhood Obesity
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The meeting was called to order at 9:06 AM. A motion was made by Tim Annable to approve the
agenda as presented. Jeff Reck seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The board approved the minutes of the September 22, 2020 meeting. A motion was made to approve
by Jeff Reck and Bree Lukens seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously.
BUSINESS
Biosolids Renewals
Veris Environmental, LLC- Katie Sall presented 11 biosolids renewal applications.
No public comments or concerns were received. Environmental Health recommends approval.
DS -200104, DS -200418, DS -200548, DS -200635, DS -200640, DS -201209, DS -201320, DS -201322,
DS -201235, DS -1900008, and DS -1900009.
A motion was made by Jeff Reck to approve the renewals. Tim Annable seconded the motion and
the motion was carried unanimously.

Promoting breastfeeding support in worksite and childcare settings- Recommends
breastfeeding for 6 months. We have 43 breastfeeding friendly worksites.

A motion by Tim Annable to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Jeff Reck. Meeting was
adjourned at 9:50 am. Next meeting is Tuesday, November24, 2020. This meeting will be in the
board of health room 210 and VIA skype for those that don't want to come in.
