BASIS OF CLAIM
Mr.Robert Miller was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Windsor,CO at the intersection of Highway
392 and Weld County Road 27 at approximately 5:40 p.m.on June 13,2025.Mr.Miller was driving a Weld
County vehicle at the time of the Collision, but was not driving during work hours. Mr. Miller sustained
injuries as a result of the Collision including, but not limited to, a fracture of the C6-7 vertebrae, a
concussion,and a low back injury.

Mr. Miller was driving west on Highway 392 near Weld County 27. At the same time,two other vehicles
were stopped at the intersection of eastbound Highway 392 and Weld County Road 27.The front vehicle,
driven by Mr.Zachary McGrath,was stopped preparing to make a left turn to travel north on Weld County
Road 27. Ms. Cheri Grimm-Olson was stopped behind Mr.McGrath. At the same time,a third driver,the
tortfeasor in this matter,Ms.Michelle Winden was driving eastbound towards the intersection of Highway
392 on Weld County Road 27 and failed to stop.Ms. Winden rear-ended Ms.Grimm-Olson's vehicle and
pushed her vehicle into the back of Mr. McGrath's vehicle. As Ms. Grimm-Olson's vehicle hit Mr.
McGrath's vehicle,Ms. Grimm-Olson's vehicle crossed over into the westbound lane,and hit Mr.Miller's
vehicle on the left front side which caused Mr. Miller's vehicle to exit the roadway and roll '/2 time on its
roof. Mr. Miller's vehicle came to rest upside down. Mr. Miller had to undo his seatbelt and break his
window to exit the vehicle.
NAMES OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES
The identity of the public employees involved include Mr.Miller—915 l Ot''St,Greeley, CO 80631; Weld
County District Attorney's Office—915 10t"St,Greeley,CO 80631; Weld County's Motor Vehicle Fleet
—address unknown;and may include additional employees.
NATURE AND EXTENT OF INJURY AND DAMAGES
The full extent of damages sustained by Claimant is not fully known at this time,but includes a fracture of
the C6-7 vertebrae, a concussion, and a lower back injury. The damages include, but are not limited to,
medical bills, permanent disability, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, emotional distress, and
lost wages.
MONETARY DAMAGES CLAIMED
The full extent of monetary damages has not yet been fully ascertained,but will exceed $100,000.00.
