Dear Mr. Billings:
On September 20, 1973, I had written to the County
Commissioners regarding what , if any, action the Weld
County Commissioners were going to take against the Kern
Cattle Company when they enlarged their feed lot. I
then received a progress report from you stating that
the matter had been turned over to the County Attorney
for advice .
At this time have the Weld County Commissioners made
a decision of what, if anything, they are going to do?
I£ you, as the County Commissioners , have determined that
you are not going to act I would appreciate being furnished
with a copy of Dy_ legal opinion that you Commissioners have
been furnished or if you do nct feel that you can divulge
such information, if you could give me a summary of what
reasons you have for acting or not acting. I assume your
decision is not to act since it is my understanding that
nothing has been done.
