USR20-0022, FOR AN OIL AND GAS SUPPORT AND SERVICE (OUTSIDE STORAGE

THE NUMBER OF CARGO CONTAINERS ALLOWED BY SECTION 23-3-30 OF THE
WELD COUNTY CODE (UP TO 20 CARGO CONTAINERS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT — 151 DEVELOPMENT GROUP, LLC
A public hearing was conducted on January 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Steve Moreno, Chair
Commissioner Scott K. James, Chair Pro-Tem
Commissioner Perry L. Buck
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Lori Saine
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jess Reid
Assistant County Attorney, Bob Choate
Planning Services Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
IR I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 16, 2020, and duly published
November 20, 2020, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the
request of 151 Development Group, LLC, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by
Special Review Permit, USR20-0022, for an Oil and Gas Support and Service (outside storage of
oil field support equipment, vehicles, and supplies) and more than the number of cargo containers
allowed by Section 23-3-30 of the Weld County Code (up to 20 cargo containers) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bob Choate, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of
record.
e Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicant is requesting a
continuance until February 17, 2021, as the case was continued at the December 15, 2020,
Planning Commission hearing, due to ongoing discussions with the surrounding property owners
and possible redesign of the site. Mr. Gathman indicated the applicant may be asking for a
continuance of the January 19, 2021, Planning Commission hearing, until February 2, 2021.
e No public testimony was presented regarding the request for a continuance.
IR Commissioner James moved to continue the request of 151 Development Group, LLC, for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR20-0022, for an Oil and
Gas Support and Service (outside storage of oil field support equipment, vehicles, and supplies)
and more than the number of cargo containers allowed by Section 23-3-30 of the Weld County
Code (up to 20 cargo containers) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to February 17, 2021, to
allow the matter to be heard by the Planning Commission on January 19, 2021. The motion was

seconded by Commissioner Buck, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion,
the hearing was completed at 10:02 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 18th day of January, 2021.
