AS OF NOVEMBER 26, 1974
WHEREAS, the work load of the County Finance Office is extremely
heavy at the end of the month and the year, and
WHEREAS, the 1974 budget balance is sufficient to cover the December
payroll , utility bills and emergency purchases only, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to economize to the greatest extent possible
so as to have available sufficient 1974 funds to fund the 1975 County Budget,
and
WHEREAS, to lighten the work load, it is the desire of the County
Commissioners to receive no purchase orders after November 26, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that no purchase orders for the
purchase of capital outlay items for the year 1974 shall be processed after
November 26, 1974, without specific, public approval by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:
