Shreve, 1818 24th Avenue Place, Greeley, Colorado, requesting approval of site for a dog kennel operation on the following described property, to-wit: Two parcels of land denoted as Parcels No. 2 and No. 3 in the Southwest Quarter (SW') of Section Seventeen (17), Township Five (5) North, Range -Sixty-six (86) West of the Sixth P. M. , Weld County, Colorado, con- taining 4. 998 acres, more or less, and more particularly described as follows: PARCEL NO. 2: Beginning at a point on the South line of said Section 17 from which the Southwest corner of said Section bears South 89° 47' 00" West a distance of 1, 318. 34 feet; Thence North 00° 06' 00" West and parall-el to the North -South centerline of said Section 17 -a distance of 330. 00 feet; Thence North 89° 47' 00" East and par- allel to-the South line of said Section 17 a distance of 330. 00 feet; Thence South 00° 06' 00" East and parallel to the North-South centerline of said Section 17 a distance of 330. 00 feet to the South line of said Section 17; Thence South 89° 47' 00" Westalong the South line of said Section 17a distance of 330. 00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 2,499 acres. PARCEL NO. 3: Beginning at a point on-the South line of said Section 1"7 from which point the southwest corner of said Section 17 bears South 89° 47' 00" West a distance of 1, 648. 34 feet: Thence North 00° 06' 00" West and parallel to the North-South centerline of said Section 17 a distance of 330. 00 feet; Thence North 89° 47' DO" East and parallel to the South line of said Section 17 a distance of 330. 00 feet: 'Thence South 00° 06' 00" East and parallel to the North South centerline of said Section 17 a distance of 330. 00 feet to the South line of said -Section 17; Thence South 89° 47' 00" West along the South line of -said Section P7 a distance of 330. 00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 2. 499 acres, and WHEREAS, the petitioner was present, and WHEREAS, thet e was no opposition to the request of petitioner for the location of a dog kennel operation, and WHEREAS, the said requested location for a dog-kennel operation is located in an agricultural zone as set forth by the Weld County Zoning Resolution, and PL0650 710327 WHEREAS, -according to Section 3. 3(3) of the Zoning Resolution of Weld County, said dog kennel operation may be authorized on the approval of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the testimony and statements of those present; has studied the request of the petitioner and studied the recommendations of the Weld County Planning Commission, and having been fully informed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, that the application of Robert J. Shreve, 1818 24th Avenue Place, Greeley, Colorado, -to loc-ate a dog kennel operation on the premises indicated above be, and it hereby is granted under the conditions following: 1. That any water and sanitation facilities to be installed _shall be approved by the State-Health Department. 2. That said dog kennel operati-on shall not contain more-than eight adult dogs at any one time. 3. That petitioner shall proceed with due diligence to effect said dog kennel operation and that he shall have up to one year from date hereof to begin construction of s-aid dog kennel operation. 4. That all applicable subdivision and zoning regulations shall be followed and complied with in accordance with the Zoning Resolutions of Weld County, Colorado. Dated this 16th day of June , 1971.
