Subject: Ault Grader Shed Design Change Order #1 (2021-0959)
Robert Shreve Architects and Planners (RSAP) was awarded the on -call design work for the Ault Grader
Shed. The design scope changed due to selection of new site location for the grader shed resulting in
additional civil design work. The additional design work has been quoted at $1,935.00 using the fees
identified in their bid. Therefore, the Facilities Department is recommending approving this Change Order
in amount of $1,935.00

The parties hereby agree to amend the work to be completed pursuant to the Original Agreement
in accordance with the terms of this Change Order.
1. Contractor agrees to provide the amended services as described in the attached Exhibit,
which is hereby incorporated into the Agreement.
2. Department agrees to compensate Contractor for said amended services in accordance
with the Exhibit.
3. The amount of the contract/Task Order is adjusted as follows:

Dear Toby,
The scope of work has changed. Work was started on the Highway 14 site. The site
was deemed to be hazardous for the equipment and a new site was sought. The project
will be constructed on a site located north of the intersection of road 33 and WCR 84.
The new site is located in the Highland Industrial Park at 41150 Tegan Ave, Ault, CO.
The civil engineer had obtained a survey of the Highway 14 site and started the civil site
design. The completed work on the site will no longer be usable. The civil engineer is
requesting an increase in his fee by an amount of $1935.00 to cover cost expenditures.

Robert Shreve Architects and Planners (RSAP) was awarded the bid design the Wash Bay and Welding
shop building and subsequent on -call design work. There is a need to design a new grader shed on the
Ault site to replace the existing grader shed. This design work has been quoted at $31,900.00 using the
fees identified in their bid. Therefore, the Facilities Department is recommending approving this task
order in amount of $31,900.00

TASK ORDER #42021 PURSUANT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
WELD COUNTY AND ROBERT SHREVE ARCHITECTS & PLANNERS

Project Title: Ault Grader Shed Design
Completion Date: July 15, 2021
Compensation: $31,900.00
Original Agreement: Weld County document no. 2019-2250
Pursuant to the "Original Agreement", the Parties may agree to additional work to be provided
by Contractor pursuant to an appropriately executed Task Order, which shall be negotiated
between the Parties on an as -needed basis. Any such Task Order shall be signed by the Weld
County Facilities Director before it shall be effective. In no event shall the total of all Task Orders
exceed $25,000 in any calendar year, unless first approved by the Board of County
Commissioners. Any appropriately executed Task Order shall be automatically incorporated
herein and enforceable.
Scope of Task Order:
The scope of work will include preparing plans for the demolition of existing grader shed the
design of the new grader shed to include floor plans, room finish and door schedules and details
of the new space. The preparation of construction documents will be RSAP for the project
management, architectural design services and project management, Eric Wernsman for civil
design, Galloway for structural engineering and G2 for the electrical, HVAC and plumbing design.
Contractor agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached Exhibit in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Original Agreement
between the parties.
The amount of the contract is adjusted as follows:

Dear Toby,
