The cost for Bit # 1 - 15,000 carbide bits is $3.51 each for a total of $52,650.00 The cost for Bit #2 — 5,000 carbide bits is $4.38 each for a total of $21,900.00 The cost of Bit #3 — 4,000 carbide bits is $5.60 each for a total of $22,400.00. The grand total of all carbide bits is $96,950.00. A total of $114,250.00 is budgeted for this purchase. These bits are wear parts and are used in the road reclaimers, asphalt cold milling machine and on the stinger blades that maintain the chemical roads.
