RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO 911 EMERGENCY
TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist and the terms for certain positions on the 911
Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Mike Zeller to said board as the City of Greeley Appointee, with a term to expire January 11, 2022,
and Sam Kaneta, III, to said board as the Sheriff's Office Appointee, with a term to expire
January 10, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Darin Dalton to said board as the Emergency Medical Service -County Appointee, and Tom Beach
to said board as the Fire Protection -County Appointee, both with terms to expire January 10,
2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Mike Zeller and Sam Kaneta, III, be, and hereby are, appointed to
the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board, with terms to expire January 11, 2022,
and January 10, 2023, respectively, and that Darin Dalton and Tom Beach, be, and hereby are,
reappointed to said Board, both with terms to expire January 10, 2023.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of January, A.D., 2021.
