APPRENTICESHIP WEEK
NOVEMBER 15 - 21, 2021
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners and the Weld County Workforce
Development Board wish to recognize Registered Apprenticeships as an innovative work -based
earn -and -learn model; and
WHEREAS, Employment Services of Weld County is committed to advancing Registered
Apprenticeships by collaborating with businesses and educators to develop related training
instruction and on-the-job training opportunities; and
WHEREAS, Employment Services of Weld County empowers job seekers to participate in
employment and training programs to develop a career path towards a bright future; and
WHEREAS, the nation is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week in November to highlight the
opportunities available and successes achieved through apprenticeship training;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, by the Board of Weld County Commissioners that
November 15 — 21, 2021, be known as Apprenticeship Week in Weld County.
