RESOLUTION
RE: PERMITS FOR OPERATION OF VEHICLES OF EXCESSIVE
SIZE AND WEIGHT ON COUNTY ROADS.
WHEREAS, heretofore and on August 1st , 1973, by Resolution
the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, did
determine conditions with regard to issuance of permits for operation
of vehicles of excessive size and weight on county roads, and
WHEREAS, it now has been determined by the Board that there
may be an ambiguity as to the interpretation of the last paragraph of
said Resolution pertaining to permittees and utility companies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Resolution of August
1st , 1973, relating to issuance of permits for operation of vehicles
of excessive size and weight on county roads be amended to read as
follows, to-wit:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, and it hereby authorizes and directs the Clerk to the
Board to issue permits for operation of vehicles of excessive size and
weight on county roads only after application therefor is properly made
BY PERMITTEE and properly acknowledged by all utility companies,
where necessary, and properly acknowledged by county road and/or
bridge supervisors or their personnel prior to the issuance of any such
permit.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of August,
A. D. , 1973.
