RE: APPROVE EMERGENCY BID #B2100024, 1 -TON 4X4 PICKUP 8 -FOOT BED
EXTENDED DOUBLE CAB (QUANTITY 3), AND WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING
PERIOD FOR CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for Emergency Bid Request #B2100024, 1 -Ton 4x4 Pickup 8 -Foot Bed Extended Double
Cab (Quantity 3), for the Department of Public Works, due to minimum timeline requirements for
order from selected vendor, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-day
waiting period for said emergency bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for Emergency Bid Request #B2100024,
1 -Ton 4x4 Pickup 8 -Foot Bed Extended Double Cab (Quantity 3), for the Department of Public
Works, be, and hereby is, waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Spradley Barr Ford
Lincoln of Greeley, Inc., in the amount of $107,448.00, be, and hereby is, accepted on an
emergency basis.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of January, A.D., 2021.

The Fleet Services Department has reviewed all bids that were received and
recommends awarding the bid to Spradley Barr Ford of Greeley, as they are the lowest bidder
that meets all specifications. The bid is for three 2021 Ford F350's. The cost is $35,816.00 each
for a total of $107,448.00.
