RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REASSIGNMENT TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist and a reassignment has been deemed necessary
on the Board of Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Elijah Hatch to said board as an Associate Member At -Large Representative, with a term to
commence August 1, 2021, and to expire July 31, 2022, and Shana Morgan to said board as an
Associate Member At -Large Representative, with a term to commence August 1, 2021, and to
expire July 31, 2024, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reassign
Todd Baker on said board from the Associate Member At -Large Representative, to the Regular
Member District 2 Representative, with a term to commence August 1, 2021, and expire July 31,
2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Elijah Hatch and Shana Morgan, be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Board of Adjustment, with terms to commence August 1, 2021, and to expire July 31, 2022, and
July 31, 2024, respectively, and to reassign Todd Baker on said board to the Regular Member
District 2 Representative, with a term to commence August 1, 2021, and expire July 31, 2024.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of June, A.D., 2021.
