COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
STATE HIGHWAY DERARTMENT
PROJECT S 0119(17):
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that it does hereby approve a certain agreement with the State Department
of Highways, Division of Highways-State of Colorado, dated November 25, 1970,
whereby the County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards designated
to govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist of
improvements on State Highway No. 119, beginning at the easterly end of Project
S 0119(447about 1.9 miles west of I-25 and extending east to I-25, as per terms
of said agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures of the entire Board,
said agreement attached and made a part of this resolution.
The above and foregoing mnolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on roll call:

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 25th day of November
1970 , by and between the County of Weld party of the '
first part, and the STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS-
STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that,
WHEREAS, The Division has constructed, or proposers to con-
struct, or provide for the construction of a project known as•
Project S 0119(17) approximately. 1.855' '-miles long beginning
at the easterly end .of Project S 0119(15) about 1.9 miles west' of I' 25
and extending east to 125
on State Highway No. 119 in the County and •
WHEREAS, The said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid
Secondary System,

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Chapter 1 of Title 23,
U.S.C. , the Parties have jointly agreed that ,this project having been
designed and/or constructed to the appropriate Design Standards and
Specifications, as determined by the Design Traffic Volume which was
developed in accordance with approved and established practices, and the
above having current approval of the Bureau of Public Roads do hereby '
agree to furtherance of this project to completion in accordance with
established practices of the Division of Highways-State of'Colorado.
In accordance with provisions as stated in 120-13-6 of Colorado
Revised Statutes the State Highway Commission intends to abandon all
portions of the existing highway which may result from any relocation
involved in connection with this project. Commission action will be
taken as soon as is practical after the relocated ;highway is 'completed
and open to public travel.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit
of the Successors and assigns of the Parties thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference•. to the signatories on
behalf of the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of
the Board of County Commissioners held on November 25, 1970
a certified copy of which is attached hereto.
