What options exist for the Board? (include consequences, impacts, costs, etc. of options): 1) Obtain the WELD.GOV domain from CISA for ultimate use on our main public facing website. This would not be an immediate update to our domain, but more a gradual migration with the ability to use both domains concurrently. 2) Do not obtain this domain, and keep www.weldgov.com as our primary domain moving forward. Recommendation: Information Technology recommends pursuing the domain WELD.GOV for ultimate use on our main weld county website and other on-line resources.
